 Gibson & Perkins, PC is a full service law firm based in Media, Delaware County. The firm’s emphasis is on business transactions, real estate, estate planning and administration, tax matter/tax resolution, business entity selection and litigation.
Gibson & Perkins, PC has seasoned tax practitioners and litigators on staff. Our attorneys are active within the business community and frequently are speakers at events and seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and business associations.

TED PERKINS
Edward ("Ted") Perkins, BA, JD, LLM (Tax), CPA, has been practicing as a transactional attorney for over twenty-five years. Mr. Perkins is a principal shareholder in the firm and also a member of the faculty of the Graduate Tax Program of the Villanova Law School. In that program he currently teaches “The Drafting Fundamentals of Estate Planning Documents” - a course that he developed for the program and which is now required for all those seeking the Program’s Certificate in Estate Planning. In the past he has taught "Comparative Taxation of Business Entities", "Federal Estate and Gift Tax", "Estate Planning", "Tax Research", "Taxation of Individual Taxpayers", "Taxation of Corporations and Partnerships", "Advanced Tax Accounting", and "State and Local Taxation." He is the co-founder of CeCom 2000, an online provider of CPE for CPAs.

KEVIN GIBSON
Kevin William Gibson, BS, JD received the degree of Juris Doctor on May 29, 1979. While in law school Mr. Gibson was the Chief Judicial Clerk to The Honorable Helen S. Balick, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, District Delaware.
Mr. Gibson restricts his practice to commercial litigation, which includes plaintiff's legal malpractice. Mr. Gibson is a member and former Co-Vice Chair of the Professional Liability Subcommittee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. In connection with his position in the Professional Liability Committee, Mr. Gibson has frequently lectured to various county bar associations on the subject of legal malpractice avoidance. Mr. Gibson has also written a number of articles on the subject of legal malpractice avoidance that have appeared in the Legal Intelligencer, Delaware Law Weekly, and the Pennsylvania Bar News.

ARIJ FARUQI
Arij Faruqi, BA, JD was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania in 1996, and in 1997 he was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., Cum Laude, International Relations with Distinction, 1993) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D. 1996).
Mr. Faruqi's practice focuses on the following areas: Business and Real Estate Transactions; Commercial Litigation; E-Commerce; and Venture Capital. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations. Mr. Faruqi is also on the Board of Directors of the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation; Diversity Outreach Advisory Board, Crozer Health Systems; Delco Blind/Sight Center; and Delaware County Memorial Fund. He has also served as solicitor for the Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority, Chester Economic Development Authority and Delaware County Office of Housing and Community Development. In addition to English, Mr. Faruqi also speaks Urdu, Hindi and Arabic.
